5. Burn MYC Guide
Here find a guide on how to burn MYC for the DAO Treasury
Ensure that you have first migrated your TCR to MYC, either on Ethereum Mainnet or on Arbitrum One. Figure out how to do that here: https://app.gitbook.com/o/-MbdsGfc3PEsikGQpmCo/s/o6SrPe0j5yCPQHV41k6i/~/changes/107/close-positions/readme/4.-migrate-tcr
The burn contract is on Arbitrum One, so ensure that you have bridged your MYC to Arbitrum One here: https://bridge.arbitrum.io/
Navigate to the https://burn.mycelium.xyz/claim page - where you will be prompted to connect your address.
NOTE in order to process Arbitrum One transactions you will need a small amount of ETH in your account (<$2 worth should be fine) in order to process the approve and claim transaction.
Please ensure that the address connected to the page is the address that you held MYC in on July 14 2023, or at block https://etherscan.io/block/17689577. This will be the account that is eligible to burn MYC to claim any ARB or WETH.
Ensure that your MYC is on Arbitrum One, and your wallet provider is connected to Arbitrum One. If you are not connected on Metamask, a list to add the network can be found here: https://chainlist.org/chain/42161 - simply click the 'add to metamask' button for an RPC network that has decent connectivity.
If your screen is stuck in a loading state after connecting, please be patient as it can take up to 5 minutes to load the chain state to determine if you are eligible to claim. If not, please repeat step 3 and refresh your browser, ensuring that the first wallet that you connect is the right address and that you are connected to Arbitrum One.
Now to burn, finally hit the Approve button to enable your account to spend MYC, and confirm the transaction on your wallet provider. Once that transaction has been processed, hit the Redeem button to claim your ARB and WETH. You should now be finished the process.
